Christine Teeling Textile Artist
Christine Teeling is a London-based textile artist who explores themes of biological connectivity and rhythm. She translates her experiences into colour and pattern, using natural dyes and pigments applied through artisan dyeing and screen printing techniques.
Her practice is nature-centred, both conceptually and materially, with the natural world acting as a compass, guiding processes of change, harmony and regeneration. Christine’s creative process brings a form of contemplation, creating time to engage with the wider world and its living systems.
Christine is also an educator, having lectured on BA Textiles at the University for the Creative Arts and Buckinghamshire New University, while also facilitating community workshops in collaboration with the Single Homeless Project and the British Museum.
