About

Christine Teeling Textile Artist

Christine Teeling is a London-based textile artist whose work explores themes surrounding biological connectivity and rhythm, translating these experiences through colour and pattern using natural dyes and pigments applied through artisan dyeing and screen-printing techniques.

Her practice is nature-centred, both conceptually and materially, with the natural world acting as a compass, guiding processes of change, harmony and regeneration. The creative process is a form of contemplation, creating time to engage with the wider world and its living systems.

Christine is also an educator, having lectured on BA Textiles at the University of the Creative Arts and Buckingham New University, while also facilitating and supporting creative community workshops in collaboration with the Single Homeless Project and the British Museum.
